The Applications panel has a 'Framework' column that indicates the type of platform installed. For WordPress specifically, it also serves to add a direct link to the WP admin area of said website. The way platform detection works for WordPress apparently includes checking for the presence of wp-config.php file in the root directory of the web application. However this method is not 100% reliable, because WordPress can actually operate with the wp-config.php file moved to the parent directory of the web root. Doing this is the best possible way to protect against the unlikely but not impossible scenario where the link between the web server and the PHP preprocessor breaks, and the server begins to serve PHP code as plaintext files instead of executing them. Moving wp-config.php outside the web root folder still makes it accessible via PHP, but makes it impossible to reach via the webserver. But becase ServerAvatar does not know this, it simply decides that no wp-config.php means the framework is not WordPress. My suggestion is to change the verification process and either: (A) Check for wp-config.php both in public_html and its parent folder, or (B) Change the verification script to look for other telltale signals (e.g. wp-settings.php and/or wp-load.php which are always there)
